DAY 1 PHNOM PENH
On arrival you are welcomed by the representative of our local partner agency. Then transfer to the hotel in the city center. Day at leisure.
DAY 2 PHNOM PENH
Sightseeing tour in- and around the bustling capital, which does show you some of the highlights. You will see the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the hill temple
of Wat Phnom, which is the most important one for the locals, but also take stroll over central market. Lunch on route at a local restaurant. A visit to Tuol Sleng (museum of
genocide) and the Killing Fields outside the city can be included as well, if you wish to do so. Finally enjoy an approx. one hour sunset boat trip on the Mekong River. Overnight
in Phnom Penh.
DAY 3 PHNOM PENH - BATTAMBANG
Early morning travel in northern direction to Battambang. On route stop at some local villages. Enjoy your lunch break at a local restaurant. After arrival take
a short tour in the city, which does also include a stroll over the local market. Finally enjoy a ride through the rice fields on the unique bamboo train. This curious form of
transport is only seen here in the Battambang area.
DAY 4 BATTAMBANG - SIEM RAEP
After breakfast transfer to the pier. From here take a boat trip over the Tonle Sap Lake until you reach Phnom Krom. On the way see one of the floating villages.
After lunch continue by road and take a short tour through Siem Raep incl. a visit to a wood- and stone carving centre. Later you will arrive at the hotel and there is some time
at leisure.
DAY 5 SIEM RAEP
In the morning pick up from the hotel. Today's tour in- and around Siem Raep will show you all major sights, such as Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, the giant stone face
temple of Bayon, the atmospheric ruins of Ta Prohm, the Elephant Terrace etc. Have lunch at a local restaurant on route. Late in the afternoon return back to the hotel.
DAY 6 SIEM RAEP
Time at leisure or take a walk in the small city for some shopping. Then transfer to the airport and continue your journey...or extend your stay in Siem Raep, depend
on your further schedule.

REMARKS/FLEXIBILITY:
Visa for Cambodia available on arrival in Siem Raep against a fee of US$ 20.- (you should bring a passport photo with you). This tour can also be done vice versa
with start in Siem Raep and end in Phnom Penh. Additional nights in Phnom Penh and/or Siem Raep can be booked with us. From February to May due to low water level there is
no boat service between Battambang and Siem Raep. During that period you will travel by car and do a side trip to a floating village on route.

To/from Phnom Penh daily flights from/to Bangkok by Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways and Air Asia. To/from Siem Raep daily flights from/to Bangkok by Bangkok Airways.
From/to Phnom Penh overland transfers to/from Sihanoukville (3,5 hrs) and the Cambodian/Thai border at Ko Kong/Trat (5 hrs). From/to Siem Raep overland transfers to/from the
Cambodian/Thai border at Poipet/Aranyaprathet (2 hrs), resp. 4 hrs. to/from the border at Pailyn/Ban Pakard (connect to Trat/Koh Chang). All flights and transfers can be booked
with us.
