DAY 1 LUANG PRABANG
Arrival in Luang prabang, where a representative of our local partner agency will wait for you. Transfer to the hotel. Time at
leisure or take a stroll in this former royal town on the banks of the Mekong. In the evening take the chance to explore Luang Prabang's little,
but colorful night market. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 2 LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast pick up from the hotel. First take a sightseeing tour in Luang Prabang, which is an UNESCO world heritage site as
well. See some of the ancient temples, such as Wat Xiengthong and Wat Aham, but also the former royal Palace, which is today's National Museum.
Further visit Ban Xangkhong, a well known village for it's wood paper making and Lao silk weaving. After lunch enjoy a boat trip upstream
the Mekong River until the junction of the Ou River. On route have a brief stop at Ban Muangkeo. This village does produce traditional Lao rice
whiskey. At Pak Ou you will visit the Thum Ting caves with it's numerous Buddha statues. Then drive back to the hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 3 LUANG PRABANG
In the morning drive to the nearby mountain wilderness and take a a short walk to picturesque Kuangsi waterfall. At some spots the
clear and cool water invites to take a refreshing bath. Later return back to town. On route you will stop at a Hmong hill tribe village. Back in
Luang Prabang visit a bustling local market. There you can see Laotian and hill tribe people trading their goods. Some time is left to relax or
maybe take you like to take a walk up to Phousi Hill (just 328 steps). From the hill top you will have great views to the town, but also to the
Mekong- and Khan River. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 4 LUANG PRABANG
Day at leisure until transfer to the airport...or extend your stay in Luang Prabang, depend on your further schedule.

REMARKS/FLEXIBILITY:
Visa for Laos available on arrival in Luang Prabang against a fee of US$ 30.- (you should bring a passport photo with you).
An elephant ride through the wilderness can also be included in this package. If you wish to do so, please let us know at the time of request
or booking. Additional nights in Luang Prabang can be booked with us.
