DAY 1 HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON) On arrival you are welcomed by the representative of our local partner agency. Then transfer to the hotel in the city center.
Later take a short discovery tour through the bustling city. You will visit the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the History Museum combined with some short walks. Overnight
in Saigon.
DAY 2 HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON) - CAN THO After breakfast start the tour to the south until you reach Cai Be. Embark the boat and see the colorful floating
market. Then visit some local home factories to discover traditional rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candles etc. Time to enjoy your lunch at a local family run restaurant. Go on to cruise
over the main stream of the Mekong to a canal and visit Tam Ho Nursering Garden. Taste some local fruit and listen to folk music. Later in the afternoon disembark at Vinh Long pier. Continue
on the road to Can Tho, the capital of the Mekong Delta. Overnight.
DAY 3 CAN THO - HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON) In the morning head for the Ninh Kieu wharf and take another boat trip, this time to the Cai Rang Floating Market,
where local people trade all kind of goods from the Mekong Delta area. Later see another inland market and a rice processing factory. Finally drive back to Saigon with lunch break at a local
riverside restaurant. Reach Saigon in the early afternoon. There is some time left for shopping etc. in the southern capital. Overnight.
DAY 4 HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON) Time at leisure until transfer to the airport and continue your journey...or extend your stay in Saigon, depend on your further
schedule.

REMARKS/FLEXIBILITY:
You must get your visa for Vietnam in advance! Please contact your nearest Vietnam embassy for it. Visa for Vietnam can also be issued here
in Thailand, but it takes a couple of days to get it. So it works only if you have a stopover in Bangkok or Chiang Mai before your trip to Vietnam.
Instead going back to Saigon on the 3rd day it is also possible to travel to Phnom Penh/Cambodia incl. one night in Chau Doc.
